James “Bryce” Martin is the Owner of Country & Lake Life Financial Strategies LLC, and a Financial Advisor with Eagle Strategies LLC.

Bryce came into the financial services industry in 2020 when he started working for New York Life. He works with a variety of clients including families, retirees, small business owners, and executives. His approach is based on the use of holistic planning and goal based risk management. Working with clients to understand their current situation in order to help create, set and prioritize strategic goals towards their vision. His favorite part of this business is getting to build relationships with his clients and getting to hear their stories of how far they have come.

Since entering into the financial services industry, Bryce has went on to complete multiple designations so he could better learn the industry. Those being the Financial Services Certified Professional (FSCP®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), and the Wealth Management Certified Professional (WMCP®). He also holds a bachelor’s degree from Radford University in Business Administration.

Outside of the office, Bryce enjoys serving the community as a current board member for the Rotary Club of Smith Mountain Lake and a member of the Smith Mountain Lake Chamber of Commerce. He also enjoys boating, golfing, traveling and spending time with his wife, Sierra, and their 3 dogs Misty, Maple and Maya.
